The Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) is a centralized, online database where security interests in personal property can be recorded and searched. The PPSR API enables businesses to connect their systems directly to the PPSR and conduct transactions, like searches, registrations, renewals, amendments, and discharges, directly through their software, instead of via the PPSR website.

The PPSR API enables businesses to connect their systems directly to the PPSR and conduct transactions, like searches, registrations, renewals, amendments, and discharges, directly through their software, instead of via the PPSR website.

Description
The API returns a single Financing Statement based on its Registration Number. The response contains debtor, collateral, secured party information and previous version history (if applicable) for the current version (for retrieves through SPG) or the version at the time of the search (for search-based retrieves). Valid combinations of query parameters include:
- spg-id and spg-pwd (optionally with a specific version, if omitted the current version is returned)
- search-id (for a previous successful search) For retrieving multiple financing statements, refer to PPSR_40.
Description
The API returns a single Financing Statement based on its Registration Number. The response contains debtor, collateral, secured party information and previous version history (if applicable) for the current version (for retrieves through SPG) or the version at the time of the search (for search-based retrieves). Valid combinations of query parameters include:
- spg-id and spg-pwd (optionally with a specific version, if omitted the current version is returned)
- search-id (for a previous successful search) For retrieving multiple financing statements, refer to PPSR_40.
Before using the API, the following conditions must be met:
- The API consumer has subscribed to the PPSR API and holds a valid OAuth access token.
- The user connected to the OAuth token is part of a registered customer organization and has an active status.
- The API consumer has either conducted a valid search or has the authority to retrieve (by providing SPG ID and password).
- If retrieving financing statement(s) through search-id, the search must have been conducted within the last 14 days (otherwise, a new search is required).
After these conditions are met, the requested financing statement details will be returned.
Before using the API, the following conditions must be met:
- The API consumer has subscribed to the PPSR API and holds a valid OAuth access token.

- The API consumer has either conducted a valid search or has the authority to retrieve (by providing SPG ID and password).
